🧪 Strand Test Guide
Before any perm or colour service, we need to see how your hair responds to chemical treatments.
To do this safely, we ask you to send us one full strand of your hair, from the root area down to the ends.
1️⃣ Select the Correct Section
Please cut a small piece of hair from underneath the back of your head, not from the visible top layer.
Make sure the strand is cut from the root down to the ends so we can assess it properly.
Because the strand is taken from underneath, the cut will not show in your hairstyle.
2️⃣ Keep the Strand Together
Once cut, use a small piece of sticky tape at the top end only to hold the hairs together.
Do not tape the entire strand — it needs to stay loose for testing.
3️⃣ Place It in an Envelope
Put the hair strand carefully into a small envelope
Write your full name clearly on the envelope
4️⃣ Post It to Us
Send the envelope to us so we can carry out the strand test and assess your hair.
Why This Is Important
This strand test helps us make sure your hair is safe for perming and reduces the risk of damage or unexpected results.
Quick Questions
Do I need to send a large amount of hair?
No. A small strand is enough and will not be noticeable.
Can I take the strand from anywhere?
Please take it from underneath the back of your head, not from the top layer.
What happens after you receive it?
We test how your hair reacts and advise whether a perm is suitable or needs adjustment.
