Congratulations on your fresh new curls! A perm is a chemical process that reshapes your hair into lasting curls or waves. To ensure your curls stay defined, shiny, and long-lasting, it’s very important to follow some simple care rules—especially during the first 72 hours after your treatment.
Do not wash your hair for the first 3 days (72 hours).
Avoid combing, brushing, or styling your curls when your hair is dry.
Do not apply any dye, heat, or styling products.
Lightly moisturise with gentle hand massage if needed.
Avoid tight hairstyles like ponytails, buns, or hairpins.
Try to stay away from activities that cause sweating such as gym or running.
💡 These simple steps will help your curls set beautifully and last much longer.
Once your curls are set, it’s all about maintaining moisture and preventing frizz. The perm process naturally dries the hair, so hydration and gentle handling are the keys to success.
Gently towel-dry (pat instead of rubbing).
Moisturise regularly with curl-friendly hydrating products.
Avoid excessive heat from straighteners, curling tongs, or hot dryers.
Get regular trims to keep curls fresh and healthy.
Treat your curls to weekly deep-conditioning treatments.
Wash your hair less often to preserve natural oils.
Your curls already look gorgeous on their own, but if you want to style them, here are some do’s and don’ts:
Apply styling products when hair is damp.
Use a wide-tooth comb only.
Use a diffuser when drying for soft, bouncy curls.
Distribute styling products evenly, working in sections.
Mix with a little water or use a spray bottle for even application.
Avoid straighteners, curling irons, and excessive heat.
Never brush permed hair when dry.
Avoid heavy products not made for your hair type, as they weigh curls down.

Before we carry out a colour or perm, we need to check how your hair reacts to the chemicals along its entire length. For this, we ask you to send us a complete hair strand — from the top where it’s cut right down to the ends.
Please take a small section of hair from underneath the back, not from the top layer. Cut it from the top right down to the ends, so we receive one complete strand. Don’t worry — because it’s taken from underneath, the cut won’t be visible in your hair.
After cutting, use sticky tape only at the very top of the strand (the cut end) to keep the hairs together.
Do not wrap tape around the whole strand — the rest must remain free for testing.
Place the strand carefully inside a small envelope.
Clearly write your full name on the envelope so we can identify your sample.
Post the envelope to me.
